inspired by vipers engine removing thread i thought i'd document my rebuild with pics.

this is what i started out with

not even technically an S :oops: but same engine and yes i am looking forward to having her back and strong on the roads :)

sorry i'm being dozy blue thunder, all i had done in that pic was the cylinder bores so thats what i was trying to show, but thanks for the tip, noted for the next photo's :P. next will be cleaning the body of the block and painting fun :wink:

Not much to see yet but look forward to the coming story.

I hope you will be showing us some nice before and after pics of porting and manifold matching.

Will you be sticking with S4 parts or going with RS4 cylinder heads and manifolds?
