Where to mount a fire extinguisher

Post by Loggie » Mon Aug 13, 2007 3:15 pm

First post. Hi. Just preparing for a track day and have a 2kg extniguisher I want to mount on passenger side.

Is it safe to drill either the transmission tunnel or the passenger floor under the mat. I don't want to drill through any brake or fuel lines !!

Drill...Drill!!! How dare you drill into an RS4!! I'm pretty sure there are brake lines underneath the car on the passengers side!? Any ideas guys?

Get a 1kg and stick it in the glove compartment. No drilling needed. Dont know if that will suffice for your track day regs though.
