My clean car

After reading a few threads here i realised how wrong i've been doing so here pics of my first attempt at cleaning it properly wash, clay, polish, wax etc 8)

That looks awesome!! I was actually going to ask - are there any real decent guides out there to the perfect clean? I am limited as I live in a top floor flat - so I have no running water or vacuum :( - I do my best though.

I've not got an outside tap so its all done with buckets of water, i just followed the all be it loose instructions that came with the clay bar kit....
Well happy with the results, just need to work on the scuffs near the door sills now :(

Very smart. Is it black or blue? It looks black but it's difficult to tell sometimes.

Its black, its the Meguires kit that i used too.....
I'm no expert but its becoming quite addictive this polishing lark :lol:

Yeah I use the same kit. Somehow it doesn't have the same visual impact on silver as it does on black.

I've got some excellent tips that were emailed to me from a professional detailer, pm me with your email address as I assume he wouldnt mind me spreading the word.

I kid you not... Johnsons Baby Bath (blue bottle - no more tears!) is the most fantastic product for washing your car and being kind to your wax!!!!!!
