Beckenham Audi R8 Launch Event

I managed to blag an invite to my dealer's R8 launch event this evening. It is a very nice car isn't it I thought the quality of the whole car including the interior was superb. Obviously a very high spec of car at the advertised price and it's not the colour scheme that I would have chosen either, I think I would have had the contrasting silver sideblades and grey interior.

That's the same spec R8 that was at Camberley Audi's R8 launch event last night ... (they also had an all silver R8).

Having seen the car "in the flesh" I agree with Daz that the contrasting side blades look better than matching ones.

I loved the LED sidelights beneath the headlamps, and am intrigued by the light pipe with the R8 logo on in the headlamps - but nobody could explain to me what they are!
