these must bolt on to tow ball
guess i'm asking to much for them to supply one with the quick release system that the towing bracket fits into.

Well, funny you should say that. A couple of months ago I was coming through central London on my way back from a ride at Box Hill. I completely forgot about the bikes on the roof and headed down the entry ramp to the Strand underpass. Fortunately, I noticed the warning lights flashing and a large illuminated sign advising me to take the emergency exit just off to the left as you enter the tunnel. There must be a break beam system, would have made a nasty mess, and I would not doubt have made it onto the traffic news.

i followed a '56 plate fiesta into the council tip the other saturday, he'd got a mountain bike on the roof that he was disposing of, the max headroom barrier sorted it out for him, and his roof rack and his roof. the car was a right mess, i'd guess it could even have been a write off. he was laughing about it too.

Now they have a flexi cable to put on the clutch lever
(isn't it easy how topics are taken "off topic", sorry)
Just to get it back onto topic.........
Wife wants to buy a couple of bikes for the summer so I'll be looking for the racks soon to go on the '6.

These guys are pretty good value, and you can collect from their unit in Windsor to save postage. They're doing a Proride double pack for £120, and then you need to get the aero bars and foot-pack on top.

LMAO
thanks for going off thread... it made a very grey saturday morning just a bit brighter
ps
seems that no-one seems to do one that snaps and locks into the actual hole
most are for fitting on the ball itself.
still ...seen as summer has already gone --seems no point now anyway.
i may go for a thule one £99 at mo at halfords
