Phone kit with Sat Nav+/Bose problem - help!

I've got a S4 B5 with Sat Nav+ & Bose.

Just had a Nokia car kit fitted with cradle for charging, Bluetooth as well, everything works except phone sound does not go through the car speakers.

Any idea how you get it to do this?

Connect the audio output of the Nokia car kit to the two phone-in pins of the Sat Nav+, and the mute wire from the Nokia car kit to the mute pin of the Sat Nav+.

Which Sat Nav+ do you have? The CD based RNS-D (two large knobs, 1 either side of the screen), or the DVD based RNS-E (one large knob to the the right of the motorised screen)?

Its the CD based version, leads are connected, it mutes the sound from the radio ok, but just doesn't feed the phone signal through.
