Alcantara Wheel

Just got myself a nice new alcantara wheel off ebay and thought I'd share the fact that the service was superb and the wheel is brand spanking! Only took 2 days to arrive!

I already had an alcantara wheel but after years of sweaty palms it had seen better days.

This new wheel makes the car feel newer to drive. I great purchase. Easy to fit too. Just make sure you disconnect the battery first for safety. After that it's a case of undoing the two torx bolts on the back of the wheel and then disconnecting the airbag connector. Then undo the steering wheel centre bolt which is a spline type (not everyone will have this bit in their toolbox, halfords sell them). Swap the airbag mounting frame onto the new wheel and refit in reverse order. Reconnect the battery.

The wheel cost me £227 delivered. Pretty good value I reckon.
