Sorry, probably posted this in the wrong place to start with.
Today my wife came out in the car for probably only the second time since I bought it.
She adjusted the passenger seat to give her more leg room and now the Airbag Warning light is permanentl on.
Any ideas - other than not letting her in the car again?

RE: Airbag warning light
She may have disconnected a lead when pushing the seat back - have you looked under her seat to see if any cable/lead has dettached..?
Other than that; don't let her in the car again

Common fault. Mines done it. Dodgy connection under seat for airbag. You'll need vagcom to reset it or take it to a stealer who could reset it for you.
Take a lok on the DTC/Vagcom section to see if there is anyone in your area who coulld reset it for you

As said above... reset it, but to fix it properly you will have to get under the seat (take the seat out) and clean up the contacts with contact cleaner. This usually cures it.

Thanks, if I fix this will the light go out or do I need to have it re-set?

RE: Airbag warning light
Thanks for your help folks, turns out the guy who did a few bits on my Rallye had an OBD setup and has re-set the light for me.
