how do I access the menu????

Post by ninjazx6r » Tue Oct 03, 2006 9:50 am

Please excuse the boring thread guys, especially after reading the heated discussion between M5 or RS6. My quick opinion.....

As re-sale is important to me I shyed away from the M5 when looking as there were so many available for sale within a 60 mile radius. When selling the car it would have to be noticably cheaper than others in order for it to be even noticed!!! Admittedly there's a wider market for the M5 but this still didn't justify the high volume of used one's for sale. Heard horror stories about the amount of oil the M5 uses.

Anyway can someone please tell me how I access my menu via the button located by the handbrake. Rest assured i'm not being lazy and I have been through my manual which tells me to turn the ignition on and press the button. Nothing happens!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Me thinks an E55 AMG would be a better buy than a M5

Everyone makes the same mistake thinking that the knob that you turn is the button that you press... (myself included); the button that you press to access the menu is in front of the knob that you turn! Press this and then the knob is used to scroll through the menus and select the respective options.
Present:...
Lotus Evora GT410 Sport, Caterham 420R, CCM Spitfire, VW T2 Bay Window 1976

Past:
