WANTED: Diesel replacement for S3

Hi

I need to sell my much loved S3 to get a diesel

Can anyone recommend an economical (therefore prob diesel) car?

Budget £14k at the most, no older than 2 years. Don't want leather seats again.

I have had a quick look at a Seat Leon FR.

I would go with a Leon. Does this come with the 140 bhp 2.0tdi? I have driven an A3 with it and I was suitably impressed.

The only other real contendars are Golf or Skoda

A friend has a 150bhp 1.9 PDI chipped to 200bhp (Revo) and it flies, and the torque is awesome!

Don't really want to down grade to an A3 diesel, I would be constantly comparing it to the S3......

Girlfriend has a Golf and I couldn't do a Skoda (sorry!).

The Honda 2.2 Turbo Diesel is an amazing engine....You might get a 2nd Accord CDTi for 14k or a new Civic for 15k 2nd hand.
