Where to get Tesco 99 fuel?

Post by Dr-Al » Tue Jul 25, 2006 9:07 pm

OK, so the obvious answer to the title question is Tesco!

However, I have read mention of this fuel in many threads, but I have never seen it on offer at any of the Tesco filling stations I have been to. How is it identified on the pump and does anyone know where I can get some around the Stockport area?

The only options I have nearby are Tesco (95?), Esso 97 or Shell Optimax (98). I have been using mostly Esso 97 because it's the closest garage that offers anything but 95RON.

Nice one - thanks

Unfortunately, none of these are within a 1/4 tank of where I live or work, so I guess I'll be sticking with Esso or Optimax

You can get 97 RON SUL from Tesco Handforth off A34 but not the 99 stuff.

Give it a few more weeks and you should be in luck.

It's not on that list, but Bicester have started it. Useful for the boys having some tuning done whilst the women are simply wasting money on frivilous things like clothes at Bicester village.
RS4 B5. Where it all started.
RS6+ Never to be replaced.
Replaced by: 997 Turbo. Didn't like.
Replaced by RS6. I like(d).
Land Rover Defender. Not as nippy.
Back with C6 RS6
And again C7 RS6

If the high octane fuel pumps involve extra mileage to get there, it may be worth making your own with 97ron plus octane booster ... just an idea.
