Hi Guys, back in the fold again with 99 pre facelift noggy blue avant.Sweet as a nut, pulls and drives seamlessly. A previous owner had it upgraded - don't know the flavour but Star performance measured 300 hp,which is plenty for me, just waiting for AWE stabilizer to reduce the slight thump on quick change ups ( never noticed it on my previous standard car ).
Have done the temp switch mod,but as the water temp never goes above 90, it never seems to cut in - normal ?
After a split TBB on previous car,I thought I'd be clever,and bought a Samco TBB and Samco F Hose with 7 clamps from Kim Collins at QST for £80 only to discover previous owner already fiited them. DOH !
If anyone wants them for £50, let me know, otherwise I'll stick em on eBay. Also have original S4 front and rear badges - happy to send FOC if anyone needs em.
