on one of my old japcrap forums and saw this

"BP Ultimate 102 Ron

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Performance boost of up to 16 per cent
BP Ultimate has launched what it calls a revolutionary high-octane fuel. Launching at selected sites in the south east, BP Ultimate 102 Unleaded is described as "the most advanced, high-performance petrol sold on any forecourt in the UK".

Offering performance improvements of up to 16 per cent in BP's tests, it's also the most expensive at an eye-watering £2.42 per litre – see below for sites where you can get it – although it's said to be better for the environment

Designed specifically for motor sport enthusiasts, BP Ultimate 102 Unleaded meets the same high specifications of fuels used in Formula One racing and the World Rally Championships. It has an octane number of 102 and has, said BP's spiel, been formulated to allow highly tuned engines to perform at their best.

Where to get it:
Tudor Filling Station, A20 London Road, Allington, Maidstone, Kent, ME16 0HE
Chicheley Park Connect, Tickford Street, Newport Pagnell, Buckinghamshire, MK16 9BD
Wavendon Gate Connect, Newport Road, Wavendon, Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, MK 7AG
All Saints Self Serve, Commercial Road, Portsmouth, Hampshire, PO1 4BU
Newbury Centre Filling Station, 758 Eastern Avenue, Newbury Park, Ilford, Essex, IG2 7HU
Newham Way Service Station, Newham Way, Canning Town, London, E16 1QX "

Still, at £2.42 per litre thats more than my pocket can handle "

There having a larrf arent they?!? £150 ish for a full tank anyone? would it actually have anybenefits whatsoever unless your car was mapped to run on it.

True, I think for cars to have full benefit on it will have to be mapped.

May try it out after I get my stage 2.

Tescos fuel is zinging at the oment on 99 ROn, for 93p a litre. Think ill stick to that.

£2.42 a litre. WOnder what mpg will be like on there. Will surely burn faster. Have to wait and see.

£150 for full tank. youre right. Just calculated it.

Im not far from ilford so its very tempting. Not full tank though. More like 4 litres.

Ill have to drive round and round the petrol station till i run out of fuel and then tp up a few litres and then do a FATS time an maf readout.

lol, it varies here in lee valley tescos east london.

Most I paid was about 97p or so.

Usually between 93p and 98p

Still beats the hell out of £2.42
