S3 using oil
RE: S3 using oil
Hi mate - take a look in your manual, I believe Audi say something like 1000 miles per litre is acceptable. Some dont use much, some do - yours doesnt sound like much to worry about

RE: S3 using oil
didn't someone else on here complain of high oil consumption right before it ate a piston?. best do a search of the s3 forum to check

RE: S3 using oil
mintie my s3 used a litre of oil every 1000 miles, then it did eat a piston, still waiting to fix
RE: S3 using oil
I would say get a healthcheck done on the engine if possible.
It may have been like that forever, literally but its worth checking that its not running lean or has other common problems associated with pipework, Dv's etc.
