Audi are now offering a ceramic brake option on the B7 at about £4200!!!!!! :drink:

Ouch.. surely the standard brakes are good enough for road use?

The standard brakes work fine on the road... I guess ceramic are aimed at track users and apparently work superbly after they warm up and last longer - but then they'd have to at that price :bigblink:

It seems expensive, if somebody was really a hardcore trackday person, they wouldnt surely buy a RS4? A GT3 or M3 CSL would be a better option surely?

Audi might think differently!!!! I believe it is clear where they were aiming - press a few buttons on the steering wheel and lap times appear in the display. Make your own mind up!
