Friends of OPEC award

Post by shineydave » Tue Jan 24, 2006 9:19 pm

Since i bought my S4 in december i've seen my weekly mileage rise from around 100 miles to around 300. considering i only do 3 miles a day to work that's quite a rise, not totally unrelated to the pleasure i get from driving the thing. Anyway, i was wondering what sort of mileage you guys do over a week. Friends of OPEC award to the highest. LoL

Couldn't comment on weekend driving, but in about 5 years the car now has 91250 miles on the clock. Great fun, phat, but understated all at the same time. Does that make it funphatated?

My RS did 63K miles in three years, and 5k over the last two, my average fuel bil while using the car for work was £120 per week...... or about three tanks of fuel. When the Merc is working, it will use the same for two fills or about five hundred miles. best of all is the Rangey when it works, £75 to fill it, does over 500 miles to a tank and has covered 13K in five months........and yes I do own shares in both BP and Shell.
