problems when doing a search?

Post by Mc-BigE » Wed Aug 31, 2005 8:40 am

Just a quick note regarding the search programme used on RS246.com

Whenever a do a search (which is quiet frequently!) and decided I don't have the information I want, when I press the "Back" button on internet explorer I get "Warning: Page has Expired" page and loose the search information that I previously entered, just wondering is there a fix to this?
Maybe a back "button" within the programme instead of using Internet explorer? (maybe there's one already and i've just missed it)

Obviously there's no rush about doing this!
There’s more important things in life and all that!!

Cheers

Eric.

Yeah it's a pain in the @r$e... Not sure how to fix it. On the list of things to do.

What I do now is to hold the shift key when clicking, to open a new window with the linked page.
When you have finished reading you can close the window leaving the search results intact.
I know it's not ideal but it does work
