So far I'm only bedding them in but with the new 5.1 fluid everything seems nice and firm as opposed to soft accompanied by the sound of metal on metal.
These are the disks and they are straight swaps for OEM.

The reason for the post is this, the fronts are 10lb lighter than OEM (saving 40%) and the rears 1lb lighter (saving 8%).
Do you expect it's just my mind playing tricks but it seems to ride and handle so much better. It doesn't crash so much over ruts and seems more composed. I know a bit of the theory behind unsprung weight but it just seems such a big improvement.
Also it seems with the reduction in weight to rotate, it seems to roll differently (i.e. easier pickup and less momentum).
I'm struggling to believe it's just because of the disks. Maybe the wet weather or the fact it's had a good thrash recently. I dunno but I'm very happy.
