s4 remap
can somebody help me. i have just bought an audi s4 avant and want to get a bit more out of it. the more i look on the net the more i get confussed. all companys out quote they are the best on the market. i would like to get a miltek exhaust and a remap. what type of exhaust should i get and what company does a good remap for my car ?
RE: s4 remap
Having only an exhaust modified will make very little difference, even if you modify the ECU. I would suggest either only chipping it, or go full hog and change the downpipes, CATs and exhaust. A good option is Miltek CATs, downpipes and exhaust (approx £2000). Custom AMD remap is approx £800.

Despite what the AMD website says, their quote to me for Stage1 tuning was £1,200.
There is a lot of praise on these forums for "Jim" of Star Performance in Scotland, who charges half the price for what appears to be the same thing, and apparently much better customer service.
But what I am telling you now is second hand hearsay. Take a look for yourself and give them both a call.
