I have a November 03 Avant in Avus with silver leatger and 7k miles.
I guess that it would cost £20k to change to a slightly used Plus.
Is it worth it?
Will the Plus retain much more value long term?
How much better is the Plus?
I can't say how much better it is as personally I've never driven one, but if you search the road test archives of Evo magazine (http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/?evo), they seem to think it's noticeably better than the standard car.
Regarding price...before I found my RS6 I was searching Audi's approved used car website half a dozen times a day (it's not just updated overnight, cars do appear and disappear in the day). The two RS6 Plus's currently at Audi dealers have both been there for weeks, but then they're more than list at £68K and £70k so no doubt over-priced. There was one RS6-Plus priced at £53k at Glasgow Audi a few weeks ago, but was gone within 24 hours of being listed - I phoned about the car to be told that they'd taken a deposit on it within the last half hour.
Gary.

I can confirm that the plus is significantly better in pretty much all respects - it goes better, it sounds better, it changes gear better, it stops better, it looks better, the satnav is better, but worth £20k to change? Not so sure! (I traded a five month old 6 for my plus so the gap was smaller). And residuals.... I'm under no illusions that mine will depreciate just as horribly as all the others!
