RS4 intercooler fitting

Post by JonnyX » Wed Nov 03, 2004 12:42 pm

Hi,

I want to hear from people which have had RS4 intercoolers fitted. What parts did you
use? did you go the APR way (just hoses) or the Achtuning way (reducing hoses,
shrouds, brackets + offside link pipe)?

I have the intercoolers and reducing hose set from Forge already. Also, did anyone
DIY - seems like there is a fair bit of work involved. Speaking to Scott @AMD he
seems to think 6 - 8 hours but this seems a couple of hours too much to me. What
do you think?

Cheers,

Jon

it is a lot of work fitting trust me, 6 to 8 hours sounds good. have to cut away bits in the front of the car.
And you will need the offside link pipe from an RS4 which you can get from www.vagparts.com.
