Post by DaveCav » Mon Oct 18, 2004 12:15 pm

Which 19"s look nice on the rs4? after some new wheels and dont know which to get?

Anyone point me in the right direction?

I like the Sportec ones but a bit pricey!

Actually the best looking wheels on an RS4 are the standard ones. I find all others make the car look like its been shopping at Halfords.

What about the 19" A8 12 spoke alloys? Similar yet different. I have taking a liking to them myself since seeing them on this A4 B6... don't know about the performance, but if you're going 19s who cares?

Most of you have probably seen it but here it is again... :D

I'm with RS4ever - I REALLY like the standard wheels and thanks to Thomson for my spare. Unfortunately you don't get a 19"!

Next to the standard wheels - I like the MTM wheels - I can't recall the sportec wheels?

PS those A8 wheels don't look to shabby either - but just not the same. But hey wheels like do many things are a personnal prefference. :?

Monty's Wheels & Tyres offer an nine-spoke RS4-style wheel in 19" (8Jx19, ET35) - perhaps not wide enough?

REALLY - Now that's interesting 8) . I don't know what the correct width is?

Having said that. The wheel option is well down the list of things to buy. When I get round to saving enough money for mods

Will try and get a picture sorted of them on the car. Although 19's they look almost smaller than standard due to the width of the split rim. Not sure If I prefer standard or not. One thing is for certain though, a original BBS split rim is certainly not 'halfords' and most definately not the normal (dare I say Common) MTM/Sportec solution.
