Seems a clear result to me:
RSs have to be Avants!

I've always preferred the look of saloon cars, but when I put my name down for an RS4, I put my name down for an Avant. :D

I prefer the look, weight and handling of the saloon. Heard the Avant was stiffer though, but I confess my heart is with the saloon.

Definitely the right choice. I'm with TWH - the RS has to be an avant to stay true to the badge.

Asking for an RS4 saloon is a bit like wanting a 4-door 911 (yes I know they tried it). No real Porsche enthusiast would buy one.

RS = Avant

IMHO - The RS6 should never have had an RS badge as it is not really distinguishable from an A6.

What about an RS4 with no turbos,does it deserve the RS badge?

Hmmm... Well as long as it looks like an RS and performs like an RS, then it's an RS... Should maybe add limited production to the list.

I'm just looking at it from a purist point of view.

Go easy people, remember that the RS6 is probably the 2nd full production car that Quattro GmbH has produced, Quattro GmbH is still a new company in comparison to BWM M, AMG etc.

Im sure that with time Quattro GmbH will improve their cars.

My fav has gotto be the RS4!
