Various RS4's getting spanked...

Post by Scotty » Sun May 02, 2004 8:50 am

..admittedly by a GT3.

Broadband or huge patience required (between 20 and 50Mb).

Video 2
Video 3

Was this any of you lot (I don't know the track but it seems familiar)?

I don't advocate the driving though!!

Its Hockenheim and it looks like a right bunch of fairies driving the RS4s, and by the look snd sound of things the GT3 aint standard.

That explains why it's familiar after seeing all the RS246's videos. I wonder if anyone will admit to being one of the "fairies"

I'd have had him. His driving was only slightly better than mine ;);)

Tha oldish M Coupe gave him a good run for his money though.

howdy guys!

this event was the so called inofficial carpassion grand prix on the small hockenheimring on the 20th of february. the blakc rs4 was mine, the blue rs6 a freind of mine. the mcoupe is one of the fastest around, even faster than any tuned or stripped m3,, inclusive the one that was chasing me once if you remember.

the gt3 belongs to a buddy of mine who is using it only for trackdays. its the new gt3 clubsport, with several modifications but without sport tires. take a look at the pictures on www.carpassion.com or follow this link.

just to let you know how my rs4 looked like after 1 hour running on corsas without adjusting the front axle. repairing cost 5300 euros payed by my insurance....

the tyre is a pirelli corsa racetrack semislick. you have to drive it with a special adjaustment on the front axle (german: ca. 4 grad sturz) to avoid that the sides get worn out. doing 15minutes on the rsdc 2003 in hockenheim with normal adjustment and your sides on the front left tyre are gone. see attachment:
