He was a stupid kid in his dad's brand new modified Sub 330hp indeed.

Imo, u can take the red Beetle out of the movie and he'll crash no matter what. Bloody idiot...

Yep, left his braking far to late on that gradual right-hander towards the end of the start/finish straight, looks like he had no where esle to put it except into the gravel. He'd of been tanking on as well (100mph+easily) when he went off, I saw nearly 130mph a couple of times before braking up for the tighting bend. Suppose a word of warning to everyone really, not to try and turn back onto the track when your still doing over 90 in the gravel!

Weather was great for the whole w/e mate!

as you can see from the video i was directly behind him and i saw exactly what happened, was going to fast into the approach .left his braking toooooooooo late, entered the gravel, decided im going back on the track, hey presto car fecked, silly billy.
Scary though if he hadnt got a roll cage who knows what the outcome would have been.
Cheers

Yes, exactly as I had remembered it. D'oh

It was amusing when John went over to the scooby driver and said that he was driving the red car - the chap immediately thought it was the beetle driver and was almost ready to land a punch

Perhaps should have read 'So there was SOME footage after all! Obvious it's not JR's car it's a left hand drive to start with and not even an rs4! It was a shame though that the self elected camera man didn't have his camera.
