Im having to keep entering my Logon details when returning to the forum...

to try and solve problem i have:

cleared my cookies... (all of them! not just rs246)

and when i log on i have ticked the "Log me on automatically each visit" box

logged on when i last visied since the above, and when i came back, im logged out...

I've made a couple of changes:

1. You will be logged out if inactive for 60 mins - was 10
2. You're coookie will expire in 14 days - was 7

Not sure what all this means, but I hope it works

does it have to log out at all?

i come and go daily on several forums and only have to log in once in a blue moon......

will try and find out if it still happens within 60 mins...

Seemed to work for me mate. The logout is all to do with security mate.

I've modified some of the code for the site so that the cookie is more flexible... It should be set similar to UBB Threads now which has the expiry set for 1 year.

also had to log in three times just now, from three different areas and it didnt log me in at first.

I think I got it.... The login in the black bar does not have the "Remember me" tick box!! Try loging out and then login with the new conveniently placed login box.

Did that fix it?

im still having to log in, but i have been using the login from the top middle of the forum page.

i have ticked the always log me in box and it still doesnt work.

i will try the logon box in the left hand colum when i next come on.
