Hi,

Anyone know of a humane way to keep next doors cat from jumping on my bonnet at night, it's leaving deep and long scratches on my passenger wing in its attempts to get up there - so deep that T-Cut is no use.

I've tried lemons which worked but it looks silly and I felt stupid tossing lemons slices around the RS4 every few days. It may sounds trivial, but the more it does it the worse it's getting. Bloody thing! [img]images/graemlins/piss.gif[/img]

Or, you could lie in wait, sniper stylee....with a 30ft super soaker...probably only need to do it once to put the beastie off !

Wire the bodywork into the 240v mains one evening, when your lights flicker you now youv'e got him.

Go to you local zoo and get some lion dung put in you garden and this will keep the cat and most other animals out including humans bit wiffy. or if all else fails get the cat and beat it repeatedly of the wall until you feel that ther will be no chance of the cat ever tring to jump off you car onto the wall again.

sounds silly but put a peace of very spiky mat over the area were the cat climbs on somthing that will hurt its paws and this should stop the cat using your car as a jumping point

The 'Cat-A-Pult' Animal Repellent I bought from my local garden centre seems to have stopped the local cats spreading my rubbish around the neighbourhood every time the bins go out so you could try something like that on the ground around the car.

Otherwise I agree with some of the other solutions above.

I have the same problem with my own cat and the neighbors, mine jumped on the bonnet last night right in front of me, i gave it a swipe (not a clever thing to do as it just slid down the bonnet making it worse).

Any sensible ideas appreciated
