It is the correct sort of connector, but whether it works OK with VAG-COM is a different issue. I have heard of people that buy third party leads that don't work, but then equally those that do. Seems a bit of a lottery, but if it's cheap enough it is probably worth the punt. You'll still have to register the software to get full use,which is about £100.

I don't think Revo do the S4 yet. I think I'd rather go with MTM (QST) or AMD anyway.
