A lap around Nürburgring in my RS4 (stock)
A lap around Nürburgring in my RS4 (stock)
Here's a lap in my RS4 (Avus) around Nordschleife.
I only have about 10-15 laps behind the wheel, most of them from my first visit over 10 years ago (in a BMW). It was sure nice to come back!
This RS4 is completly unmodified with the exception of brake pads (I think we changed to BMW 7-series pads the day before since they are the same!!!). There are 2 people in the car.
There's an RS6 involved as well as a M3 CSL (impossible to catch!) and a 600 hp EDO 2 Competiton Porsche.
If you have to know, I plan to buy an RS6 for the winter and then a M3 CSL in the spring...
Please save as to save bandwidht.

Can I have a go please?
The heavily banked left hander with the painted chevrons on looks like the best bit, reminds me of scalextric!
Dont like the look of the crash barrier being so close to the track all the way round though, doesn't leave much room for error .
Vinny.

It was my impression that everybody here rode the Nordschleife?
In any case I can recommend it!

When are we off then John? Have to be next year now. Doesnt look like I'm going to get my "fix" in 2003 Only been once, but its a place thats often in my thoughts - not always for the right reasons...
Sweet footage RSKicker. Well driven. Nice of that yellow Porsche to overtake you then hold you up till virtually the end
Gav - thats the famous Karussel. You can wince and grimace your way through there as your wheels grind their way through your wheel arch liners if you are carrying a few passengers Not much margin for error anywhere on the Nordschliefe. The barriers do save people from some huuuuge drops into and onto among other things, hostels, roads, ravines and forest though

If it wasn't for the barriers I wouldn't be here! p.s. before you ask : very wet, over crest, got light, aquaplaned.
