Deal of the week!

I went down to our local Sainsburys supermarket at lunchtime to buy some more milk for work.
Walking through the shop I noticed there were bags of 6 oranges that were reduced to 69p, because of their sell by date.
So I pick up two bags (lovely in the juicer), walk round the corner, pick up the milk and go to the checkout.
At the checkout I find that the oranges originally had a multibuy discount - buy two bags and save £1.38.

Yes that's right - 2x0.69-1.38=zero [img]images/graemlins/cool.gif[/img]

So I went back and got another four bags! [img]images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]

I think Tesco's did a deal once whereby banana's were -£1 a bunch or something, it was in the paper, some bloke had them all and ended up with money in his pocket! [img]images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]
