Removing cat

Post by ZenithalRavage » Sun Jul 06, 2003 9:24 pm

Hello!
I posted a question on removing the cat from an S2 but seem to get no reply. As the RS2 and S2 have the same engine and this RS2 section seems to have more viewers, I took the liberty of posting my question here too (hope you admins don't mind Image)
If there's anyone who can shed some light on this cat business please see my original post Image

No, unless you map the car & replace the whole exhaust system with an aftermarket sports job. Its a metal mesh sports cat in the first place unlike the S2 ceramic cat.

Its a wire mesh & will not improve power without other mods.
