Jumping ship? Surely not.

SpecialK,

you've gone from Shalford to Horsley (one side of me to the other).

Where are you from and what have you got ?
Just interested, that's all.
Neither were me, but if your that local we'll almost certainly see each other at some point.

Cheers,
John.

West Horsley is the place we call home. Mrs K's family are from Cranleigh, hence the journey. Current carriage is a 2000(V) S3 in silver. No mods and no distinguishing features. Had the car over 3 years, but only recently discovered this forum. Wanted to make the Windsor meet last week but an early start (I work in the City) made it impossible.

Well, almost certainly likely to pass on the roads then, as I live in Cranleigh and the wife works in Dorking

I know what you mean about early starts too - I work in Fareham and normally start at 7am

Maybe seeyou at one of the future meets then. I might even see if anyone fancies meeting up one evening a bit nearer us (I suggest the PArrot @ Forest Green before)

Cheers,
John. (pick up Noggy RS4 in 52 hours - and counting ! )

SpecialK, almost next door neighbours as I live in Ripley. Let me know if you plan an evening meet.

lol,
my inlaws live in Send (moved from Ripley a few years back)

Used to get my cars serviced at Colbornes, where the new houses are going up. Oh, and the wife still chuckles every time she sees the 'free erection' sign by the shed place next door

Definitely sounds like we need to have a pub meet soon.
Give me a chance to get my car first though, eh
Then I'll make a post to see who else is up for an informal gathering one night.

Cheers,

Small world isnt it!!! Must admit always used to use the 'Free Erections' sign for people who were visiting which always amused people. Unbelievable that those houses are selling at 420K+ with no gardens!!

Just when you think you have got used to Surrey prices, there is always something new to shock you.

Regarding the shed shop signs I have wondered if they are in league with the Farnham shed outlet on A325/A31 roundabout - my personal favourite was "Last sheds before M3".
