RS4 Intercoolers vs S4 intercoolers?

Have a look at the 'Front mounted intercooler for RS4/S4' thread in the RS4 forum, it looks the dogs and I would expect ACH tuning to come up with something compelling in terms of performance to justify their pricing.

Is there much difference between the S4 intercoolers and the RS4 intercoolers. Is there much benifit in swapping to the RS4 ones if higher boost is being used? Has anyone actually measured any difference in intake temperatures after having done this mod? Joshie??

I haven't measured the intake temp but I fitted the RS4 intercoolers almost by accident as they were kindly supplied free of charge - thanks again Andy [img]images/graemlins/clap.gif[/img] and because it was the next logical step for me. Fitting is tricky though and expensive as there was about 8 hours labour involved.

The benefit is to be had when the weather is hot and intake temperatures start to rise. The car does run far more consistently.
