These seem like such a good buy at the moment.
I own a B7 and paid £25k for it albeit in the height of covid.
I cannot believe how cheap B8's are. I keep regularly seeing 50/60k mile examples for now sub £20k which seems crazy?
What am I missing? I'm tempted to add one as a second car alongside the B7. I know the B5 and B7 will always demand more of a premium as arguably they are more special. But the B8 is the last gen with the V8 and is hugely capable ... they just seem to be falling through the floor price wise.
Why are B8's so cheap?
Re: Why are B8's so cheap?
Hi,
theres a few things. But this is happening to a lot of high performance cars. IMO the advent of super fast electric cars has removed a lot of the justification for some people of having a fast noisy car. Ones these days are owned by enthusiasts or as a tickbox excersise.
They are getting old and some of them are rough.
The costs are rising to own a car such as this.
The B8 is a great car and will always be desirable as its the last of its generation.

So cheap in UK. Right.
Because in Europe, they're much more expensive. (like X2 or X3)
UK prices are a mystery to me.
