Rear spring choices with drc delete

Post by frazer » Sun Mar 24, 2024 6:08 pm

Hi- my b7 avant had drc failure that needed fixed in a hurry several years ago - just put in some bilstein shocks and worked great.
Now have a broken original rear spring and need to replace ideally without spending a fortune or lowering the car - its used for a bit of off-road fishing work a few times a year. Has anyone a suggestion apart from get an suv.
I wondered if the lowering springs for a diesel Quattro avant would do the job.
Thanks

I’m tired of scraping speed humps and am looking for something along these lines as well.

Not sure yet I want to go that route, but the local Audi specialist tells me the suspension from the B7 3.0TDI will fit. Theoretically that should result in a very slight lift from stock height.
