Car Stolen

Post by super7 » Sat Jul 01, 2023 7:53 am

Unfortunately had my car stolen off the drive last night.

REG: F10 RMG

broken into the house took the keys and had away with it. Was visiting my parents in Doncaster South Yorkshire, so likley to be around there.

Reported to police and insurance, long shot posting here but can’t hurt. Gutted, loved that car.

Sounds like it was opportunist rather than planned if you were at a temporary address, in which case it has either been stolen for a joy ride, or for a local crime.

What reports have the police got on ANPR? They can search on model and colour as well as number plate.

I had the same thing happen in 1994 - Saab 9000 Aero stolen from mother-in-laws house. Spotted in local estate, but dumped into the Tees in Sunderland before the polics could get to it.

At least it made the insurance claim simple!

Good luck

Sorry to hear this, had mine taken back in 2019.

Hope you have more luck with the police than I did, they simply weren't interested. Does sound opportunistic, although I'm convinced mine had a tracker put on it.

EDIT. It might be something to do with you, however the latest V5 was issued 4th July.
