Maxton design side and rear diffusers

Post by Saudirick » Tue May 17, 2022 12:59 pm

I have already fitted a front V2 Maxton design diffuser, has anyone fitted the V2 side and V2 rear bumper diffusers onto their 6? Does it make the car much lower and did it make a difference at all? Does it improve the looks in your opinion?
Thanks in advance

Ive got the V.1 front. V.2 sides and the rear bumper sides. I know they split opinion but that's what makes the whole car community awesome. keeping diversity. It would be a boring boring world if we all did the same!

I personally love them, They add some aggression to the car (not that it needs much!) as for clearance, they without doubt reduce clearance. But as of yet I've not hit anything. The side skirts 100% protected the car, as some whopper caught the car reversing out of a space. And it was the skirt that they cought first. Without doubt alerting their use of the force to judge the gap! The skirt did get cracked, so a new set were ordered and fitted. Aligning the holes on the old skirts to allow it to match perfectly. Its also worth noting that I made 2 cutouts each side to allow ramp and jacks to mate into the jack pads without interference.

Hope all that blurb has helped either way,

Craig.

Thanks, yes, helped a lot. I did wonder about the jacking points and whether i had to remove the covers to fit the skirts
