RS6 alloy wheel change

Post by hanny1973 » Mon Aug 24, 2020 7:56 am

Hi all,

I hope everyone is keeping safe and well. Newbie here! I bought my RS6 last year and have never liked the alloys, I'm thinking of changing them for a different style. These are the current alloys-

I just wanted opinions on what alloys looks best, given the colour of the car. It's got the black pack (not sure the official name with black wing mirrors).

Thanks in advance!

You've already got one of the best wheels, just need to paint them black.

Or the RS6 Performance wheels look good if you want to keep it OEM.

If you want aftermarket, there are loads of options and they will be dictated by how much you want to spend and what style of wheels you like? I had both of the above options as well as some 10 spokes if that's your thing.

See this link for my 10 spokes:

See this link for photos of my car with your wheels in black and the Performance wheels too:

I would avoid the 5 spoke ones I have one my C7PE as per pic.
I have two OEM sets (summer/winter) and each swap they require repairs for buckling. Until these wheels I have never had a buckled wheel in my life. (I think there's a whole thread on this).
I would go for 20" or the other design on the PEs if you want 21".Image

Anyone know if the new C8 RS6 alloys will fit? ET 19, 10.5J, same hub size and stud offset...
