Hi people, as the title says, and apologies if this has already been asked.
I’ve the chance to get myself into a nice B9 RS4 in Navara blue on an 18plate, does have nice options on it including the panroof which I like also.
I’m currently running a B8 RS4 Limited edition on a 15plate, has pretty much all options ticked, and it’s an awesome car, and not seen one other at all in the 18months I’ve had it for.
It’s a pretty rare thing and it’s the right colour combination an none of the crazy colours you see them in regarding the interior with it having the wingbacks in it.
Thoughts would be gratefully appreciated as I’m torn between them both.
Thanks

B8 and B9 are chalk and cheese.
The B9 really is in a different class to the B8.
The B9 is rare too.
You won’t regret changing.

B9 is light years ahead of the b8
I've had all the RS4s B5 love it B7 loved it B8 was ok great gearbox but too heavy and suvenly in the bends B9 love it lighter faster sharper and navara blue is the fastest colour

Re: Audi RS4 B8 LE To RS4 B9
Need to test drive a B9 to make a comparison but for me the reason I've not jumped into a B9
is that I've found the B8 very good and would feel he change would just be like getting the same, at least the jump between
the B7 and B8 had its differences for me!
Waiting for Audi to bring out something more dramatic in looks to tempt me but doubt that'll be anytime soon or anytime at all!
B9 would have to be a very good deal, especially now

Believe me, you will never say the change will be like getting the same, once you’ve tried one.
Just sitting in it is leaps ahead.
Interior, tech and the luxury feel cannot be compared to a B8.
I loved my B8 but the B9 is much much better.
The B8 is just ‘old’.
You’ll soon change your mind when you actually drive it!!
Good luck!

Only you can know by driving them
I considered a B9 after my B8 and the dealer lent me a RS5 for a week or so.
It was clearly capable but to me wasn’t worth the massive uplift in price from mine to a new RS4
There was nothing wrong with it.
The ease of the turbo made driving easier but also less dramatic with a far less satisfying noise.
Having said that there are far better qualified people than me to comment such as above and Graeme who has had them all too
I went a totally different route in the end as you will note from my signature
Enjoy anyway and there isn’t a wrong answer

Just gone 2015 B8 Ltd Ed to 2023 B9 Carbon Black. The B9 is a MUCH better car. Speed, handling, comfort - awesome.
