Press Cars

Currently eyeing up a C6 RS6 and the one I've seen has full service history but it's a print out from Audi (although I don't recall it being on audi headed paper) as the original history was lost, apart from calling each branch to verify this is there anything else people would recommend?

On another forum I was told that OE08 cars were press cars, is this true? I guess if so this would explain the duplicate history?
