Safety Recall Notice

Just had to sign for a recorded letter that was an urgent safety Recall notice from Audi. Has anyone else had this and what is it for? MY16 FL.

Turns out its an update for the MMI that I declined last week (woudl have wiped the carplay hack)....
Why it was sent recorded i dont know...

I've heard that there is a recall for the MMI but not had it done. If it's a safety notice could it be electrical?

From what I gathered from the techincal blurb on the dealers screen it was just software update to fix a screen issue. I said I didnt want it done for now as it would wipe the carplay activation , which he did say the update wiped Carplay off a customers Q7 a week before that wasnt too chuffed.
