Strange whiring noise

I’ve jumped into the car today and got a really strange whiring noise coming from the air vents. Sounds like a PC fan running of axis - it’s quite loud.

Intermittently comes on/off when the air con blows harder. I have a video I’ll see if I can post a link.

Anyone had similar?

Possibly a leaf or some debris has got past the cabin filter?

It’s more mechanical, I can get the fan spin up and down. I have a video I’ll try and upload it. But it’s very ‘droning’ if that makes sense vs something being stuck.

Video I took earlier today. It’s incredibly annoying. Feels like a dash out job or something. At the end you can hear whatever it is spin down:

For me there's a cable that touch a fan somewhere, its really sound like that
