Parking sensor issues

Strange one....my parking sensor appears to have fallen in! I can see/feel it there.

Anyone else had this?

Obviously not had any knocks etc to have caused this and from what I can tell it hasn't been painted before.

Called Audi and they couldn't believe it and I have a feeling they will kick up a fuss and not let me claim under warranty.

Front or rear? Not that I can help much but two of the front are in the grille.

Could have been a well placed stone that knocked it in. I've had that happen on a previous car but only the once. I don't think they could just fall out on their own. I'm not surprised if Audi refuse a warranty claim because it's really not likely to be a failure of a component.
