speeding ticket

Post by tanoga » Sun May 04, 2003 8:54 am

Anyone had any experiance of being unable to state for sure who was driving a car when it was caught on a speed camera with the rear number plate on the film and not the front one?
If so what was the out come.

don't take the piss out of me but if you read this months max power apparently if you fill the drivers details in on the form, but forget to sign it the evidence is inadmissadle in court, and apparantly there is no way of making you sign the form!!!

For those of you who use the Swallowfield bypass.take note that saturday pm there was an unmarked Omega ,52 reg, dark blue, parked up having pulled over a Scooby. As one end of the road is Thames Valley and the other Hampshire I'm not sure whose it was but the pull over was the Berkshire end.

In an effort to try and identify the driver I asked for a copy of the photos to see if that would help. Unfortunatly I am still unable to positivly identify the drive.
I am looking for some opinions though regarding the photos.
Is my assumption correct that the car was timed to show that it travelled 253.9 meters in 9 seconds. If that is correct then the speed should be 63 MPH by my calculations and not 48 MPH.
Can anyone verify that to make sure my maths has not gone up the shoot.
