Would anyone have any feedback on the use of these pads? I am particularly interested in peoples views on wet weather performance since the SAAB owners Forums have complained heavily about these pads and favour a particular Ferodo one instead.
I have Greenstuffs fitted and they seem to work very well. I haven't really had the chance to test them in wet weather yet. They are still being bed in so I havevn't given them a full trial at all. Since the first time I have used these pads is in conjunction with a monster brake kit I can't really compare them with anything.
How do these pads compare to other brands as direct comparison without any other brake system changes?
Grateful for comments
Cheers
Lee

Mine work fine wet and dry, which cannot be said of the OEM pads which seem to deteriorate heavily after 10 mins or so in heavy spray to the point there is at least half a second of delay before braking.
Greens have no such problem but are cruel to my standard discs. One day, someone will make an aftermarket disc for me.

Gentlemen.
You can buy aftermarket replacement discs for the standard system at ECS Tuning Grooved seem like a good option.

Sorry Lee, did not mean to hijack the thread.
My experience of greenstuff pads is that the are very effective from cold and can significantly increase fade resistance in othersise standard setups, but they tend to warp standard discs because they transfer too much heat into them as a result.
I have been told they work pretty well in upgraded systems (like your own) though. Harder discs ?

Re: EBC Greenstuff pads
Just had my Greenstuff pads replaced. They were not worn out just making a horrible noise. I have got the Porsche upgrade fitted to my S3.
Took my car to QST for some other work. I mentioned that the brakes had started to squeel. Asked Kim if he could put some shims in to stop it making an awful racket. He tells me that the greenstuff pads are not too good for my brake setup so he replaced them with fast road porsche items. Now a lot better and no squeeling
Don't know if this is the case for standard setup though.
