Retrofit Drive Select button on steering wheel

For all those who wanted a Drive Select button on the steering wheel like the Performance model has, it looks like this can be retrofitted as this America nsite sell it:

Great find! You must have reprogram the software or something to get it to work. Can't imagine it's plug n play? Wonder if you could add this option to the star button that's there already?

Hi Mike, sorry for hijacking this thread but I saw somewhere that you related the boot lights with LED's or similar. Would you mind telling me what kind of LED I would need? Thanks in advance.

The same as all the other courtesy lights on any Audi. I just had them lying around in the garage. They are W5W or whatever it's called.

The change over is not that easy from what I recall. I chatted to europrice about this and you have to replace the button cluster module and that can only be done if you have the right wheel and associated coding.

They can easily check for you however to see if the swap is possible so long you have steering wheel serial number and a few other details
