AwesomeGTI, Any good?

Post by TommyC » Thu Apr 13, 2017 3:30 pm

Been looking at getting some KW v3's fitted to my B7 RS4. Got a good price quoted to supply, fit and align from AwesomeGTI.

Read a few mixed reviews and got a mate who swears by them and uses them for everything on his Cupra R. Its a bit of a trek from me but the cost saving compared to my local places would make it worth while.

Anyone on here used them recently?

Cheers
Tom

Gone but NEVER forgotten - C5 RS6 Misano red avant.

These are only a couple of miles from me and always have some good cars outside . Can't say I've heard anything bad from them in a long time . That said I haven't been looking to be honest .

Had the kW v's fitted today by awesome. Great service from them, arrived at 8.30 and the car was straight in and on the ramps. They setup the ride height exactly as requested and called me into the workshop a few times to make sure I was happy. Car was then finished off with a thorough alignment and a quick wash. So yeah, all in all pretty 'awesome'

And not forgetting rule 1, here's a quick pic

Thanks. i was pleased untill i got all my old bits out the KW box and happend to notice 'clubsport' on the part label. Checked the part numbers and they have indeed fitted the clubsport coilovers by accident due to a mix up whilst ordering with KW. Theyve been very good about it, admitted they've cocked up and offered to let me keep the clubsports (which are higher value than i paid) or go back and replace with the V3's. Iv chosen to get the V3's put on as from what i gather the clubsports are more track focused and will be pointless for me on the road.

They are a great company always took the golf r32 to them. Pissed me about once regarding a service i waited 3 hrs. Asked 3 Times whats going on. Long story short i got the manager out and only paid for the service parts in the end.

Has it put me of no ! I would take the future RS to them no problem
