Best gearbox/transmission oil to use?

I am sure its been said many times before however...

What weight oil, grade and how much trans fluid does this beast require?

And any personal experiences with brands being better than others offering smoother shifting etc?

I used millers nanodrive 75w-90

FAQ threads has a great write up, but personally I'd use audi specific oil GL-4 & GL-5, as opposed to one for all.
