rear diff service

Post by rtd » Tue Feb 14, 2017 11:27 am

so contacted local stealer yesterday regarding diff service as it was highlighted during my last visit to the stealer that it needed doing, first they kept going on about the gearbox which is a sealed for life unit and I haven't rang about the damn gearbox - we eventually get down to the diff but they cant work out if it takes two different types of oil or one!

so if anyone has had this service done could they enlighten me please? and I will duly inform the audi dealer. :audibash:

I'd be tempted to take it to a garage that knows what they are talk8ng about rather than relying on the customer to find out.

That's why I only take mine to Stratford. I'm 5 mins from Birmingham Audi but I prefer to travel out 30 mins.

I went in there once to ask them to fit some new genuine Audi parts to my car but because I didn't buy the parts from them they refused to do the work. Won't be going back there.
