K&n or not k&n air filter b7 rs4 ?

As above took my car to my cousins for a service
We opted for a k&n panell filter ' better air flow etc
Was speaking to some one at work today
( who knows fook all about performance cars )
That the k&n are no good !!
Should put og audi one back in
Your thoughts ?

It's the oil that can be problematic on the k&ns for the maf

first it the wrong forum but im sure some one will fix that
i ran MRC filters basically and IGT oil coated filter in my B7 fo most of my 7 years of ownership and absolutely no issues with the maf sensor
